Taking Prostate Cancer Awareness Off the Leaflet and Into People’s Lives
At Mon0lisa Productions, we believe information should not just be read — it should be understood, experienced, and lived. Through powerful community drama, storytelling, and interactive performances, we raise awareness about prostate cancer in ways that connect emotionally and culturally with audiences.
Working alongside Patty Dumplin and the Champion Volunteers, we transform medical information into relatable stories that help men, families, and communities understand the importance of prostate health.
Our Mission
Too often, health information remains confined to leaflets, clinics, and statistics. Many men:
Do not read the leaflets
Do not attend health talks
Do not recognise potential warning signs
Do not seek help early
We use drama and creative performance to break down fear, stigma, and silence — especially in communities where conversations about men’s health are often avoided.
Our productions create safe spaces for dialogue, reflection, education, and action.
Why We Use Drama
At Mon0lisa Productions, we understand that facts inform — but stories transform.
Through character-led performances featuring Patty Dumplin and the Champion Volunteers, we:
Translate medical language into everyday conversation
Address myths and fears openly
Encourage men to speak up about their health
Empower families to support loved ones
Promote early GP visits and informed health discussions
Drama allows audiences to see themselves reflected on stage. That recognition builds understanding, reduces fear, and encourages life-saving action.
Community Impact
Our productions:
Tour community centres, and local events
Engage men who may not attend traditional health seminars
Create open discussions and Q&A sessions after performances
Partner with healthcare professionals, Orchid Cancer Appeal, to ensure accurate and responsible messaging
We are committed to ensuring prostate cancer awareness reaches people in a culturally sensitive, accessible, and engaging way.
Join the Mon0lisa Productions — Turning Awareness into Action!
Prostate cancer affects individuals, families, and entire communities.
Through creativity, courage, and conversation, we can:
Reduce stigma
Encourage early detection
Support informed health choices
Save lives
